This year's Miss Whatever contest was held at the amphitheatre at the base of Cacoonus Maroonus. FeeBeeLee DeeLee, of The Forbidden Zone (See Map of Sango Jingo) won from a bevvy of beauties that numbered in the hundreds. It wasn't surprising that Slimb Jumbo, the pagent's perennial MC, used this opportunity to try to pump some info out of Ms. DeeLee about her hometown area, The Forbidden Zone.
Transcript of the Q&A portion of the competition:
SJ: So what part of the Forbidden
Zone do you come from?
FD: I'd rather not talk about it, thank you.
SJ: Yes, but surely the audience--and I might add--the
judges would like to know just a little about your background. Are
you allowed to say anything about The Forbidden
Zone?
FD: It is forbidden!
SJ: Really?
FD: Am I speaking Chinese?
SJ: I'd rather not say.
FD: Neither would I.
SJ: Well, there you have it.
FD: Depends on what you mean by "it."
I can say no more.
Well, Slimbo Jumbo, in his report to sUmUs cAcOOnUs, D.E., stated the following about what he had learned from this limited exchange:
Back to DiLingo HomepageBottabing, cAcOOnUs,We know that they don't know whether they're speaking Chinese or not. We know that a lot of things are absolutely forbidden. We know that there are strange things afoot in The Forbidden Zone, for otherwise, The Forbidden Zone would never had let Ms. DeeLee enter, thereby giving us a glimpse of what young ladies from there even look like. Also, the rules of the pageant clearly state that a representative from the pageant must accompany this year's Miss Whatever on the publicity and good will tour of the entire Sango Jingo nation, including The Forbidden Zone. This year Notso Fatso will serve as this official chaperone and coterie leader for Miss Whatever. We look forward to her reports.
